We are looking for an experienced Accountant (m/f/d) with a strong background in financial accounting, reporting, and process optimization to take ownership of our core finance operations. In this role, you will ensure accuracy, transparency, and scalability across our accounting processes while supporting strategic decision-making in a growing SaaS environment. You will shape and continuously improve our financial structures, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and clarity as we scale.

What can you expect?

Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Own and maintain contract and order data 
  • Prepare and review monthly recurring invoices and ensure billing accuracy
  • Manage and further develop the dunning process
  • Monitor and manage the accounting inbox and customer-related finance topics
  • Perform bank postings and reconcile AR-related accounts
  • Analyze open items and proactively resolve discrepancies
Accounts Payable (AP)
  • Review and post incoming invoices
  • Ensure proper account assignment and cost allocation
  • Support and prepare payment runs
  • Act as contact person for vendors regarding invoice queries
Expenses & Payroll-Related Topics
  • Review and post travel expense reports 
  • Ensure compliance with internal expense policies
  • Support employee benefits reporting and related reconciliations
General Accounting & Compliance
  • Support reporting requirements
  • Assist in the implementation and documentation of accounting processes and policies
  • Support month-end closing activities

What should you bring along?

Experience & Domain Focus

  • Completed training as an Accountant (e.g. Finanzbuchhalter), Tax Clerk (Steuerfachangestellter), or comparable qualification
  • 1–3 years of professional experience in accounting, including AR, AP, or general ledger
  • Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB)

Technical / Methodological Skills

  • Experience with ERP or accounting systems, ideally NetSuite
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset
  • Confident handling of accounting processes and financial data
