Als Site Reliability Engineer (m/w/d) stellst du die Zuverlässigkeit, Skalierbarkeit und Performance unserer AWS-Plattform sicher. Du entwickelst unsere Cloud-Infrastruktur kontinuierlich weiter und unterstützt unsere Development-Teams bei stabilen, automatisierten und sicheren Deployments.

Was erwartet dich?

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Reliability

Design, Implementierung und Betrieb einer hochverfügbaren und skalierbaren AWS-Infrastruktur mittels Infrastructure-as-Code
Nutzung von Best Practices in Bezug auf Performance, Sicherheit und Kostenoptimierung
Durchführung von Performance-Tests, Capacity Planning und System-Tuning für AWS-Services

Automation, CI/CD & Developer Enablement

Aufbau und Pflege automatisierter Deployment-, Monitoring- und Alerting-Systeme
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit Entwicklungsteams, um Reliability und Observability in Applikationen zu verankern
Automatisierung von Testing- und Deployment-Prozessen mit GitHub Actions
Kontinuierliche Verbesserung und Automatisierung von SRE-Prozessen

Monitoring, Incident Management & Operations

Monitoring von Systemperformance und Stabilität
Analyse, Troubleshooting und nachhaltige Behebung von Incidents
Teilnahme an einer On-Call-Rotation (24/7 Support)
Sicherstellung der Einhaltung von Security Best Practices und relevanten Standards

Was solltest du mitbringen?

Erfahrung & fachlicher Fokus

Abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Informationstechnologie oder einem vergleichbaren Bereich
Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) mit Fokus auf AWS und Cloud-Infrastruktur
Fundiertes Verständnis von Cloud-Netzwerken und AWS-Services

Technische / methodische Kompetenzen

Sehr gute Kenntnisse in Infrastructure-as-Code, insbesondere Terraform
Erfahrung mit Containerisierung (z. B. Docker)
Gute Kenntnisse in Git sowie praktische Erfahrung mit GitHub Actions
Solide Scripting-Kenntnisse (z. B. Bash, Python)
Starkes Verständnis von Security-Prinzipien in Cloud-Umgebungen

Arbeitsweise & Mindset

Analytische und strukturierte Herangehensweise an komplexe Systeme
Fähigkeit, Störungen effizient zu analysieren und nachhaltig zu beheben

As a Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) you ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our AWS platform. You continuously evolve our cloud infrastructure and enable development teams to deploy secure, automated, and stable applications.

What can you expect?

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Reliability

Design, implement, and operate highly available and scalable AWS infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code
Apply best practices for performance, security, and cost optimization
Conduct performance testing, capacity planning, and system tuning for AWS services

Automation, CI/CD & Developer Enablement

Establish and maintain automated deployment, monitoring, and alerting systems
Collaborate closely with development teams to build reliability and observability into applications
Automate testing and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions
Drive continuous automation and improvement within SRE operations

Monitoring, Incident Management & Operations

Monitor system performance and stability
Troubleshoot complex systems and implement sustainable incident resolutions
Participate in an on-call rotation (24/7 support)
Implement and maintain security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards

What should you bring along?

Experience & Domain Focus

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as an SRE with a strong focus on AWS and cloud infrastructure
In-depth understanding of AWS services and cloud networking

Technical / Methodological Skills

Strong proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly Terraform
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
Solid knowledge of Git and hands-on experience with GitHub Actions
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python)
Deep understanding of security principles in cloud environments

Strong troubleshooting capabilities and resilience in incident situations
High level of ownership and reliability in operational settings
