Freelance Senior Performance Marketing Manager (m/f/d)

In this interim role, you will work closely with our in-house Performance & MarTech Associate and the wider marketing team. You will take care of day-to-day campaign operations, ongoing optimization, budget monitoring, reporting, and the setup of new paid campaigns in close collaboration with Field Marketing, Marketing Operations, Content Marketing, and SEO.

This role is ideal for someone who can quickly understand an existing campaign setup, work independently, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and keep performance marketing activities structured, secure, and well documented throughout the coverage period.

We are looking for someone from Mid-July 2026 to January 2027 for roughly 10hrs/week.

What can you expect?

Campaign management & optimization
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our Google Ads account
  • Set up, monitor, and optimize paid social campaigns in LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Continuously improve campaigns across Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads based on performance data
  • Conduct keyword and placement mining, including positive and negative keyword management
  • Conceptualize, set up, and create new ad campaigns in collaboration with the relevant marketing stakeholders
Budget, pacing & performance reporting
  • Monitor campaign budgets, pacing, and allocation across active paid channels
  • Review campaign performance regularly and translate findings into clear recommendations
  • Prepare monthly paid performance reporting for the CMO and other senior stakeholders
  • Ensure reports remain reliable, actionable, and easy to understand
Cross-functional collaboration
  • Work closely with our in-house Performance & MarTech Associate on campaign execution and optimization
  • Join bi-weekly calls with our Google representative
  • Collaborate with Field Marketing on lead generation campaigns
  • Partner with Marketing Operations on tracking, attribution, and campaign setup
  • Work with Content Marketing and SEO to identify synergies across paid and organic channels
Tracking, documentation & handover
  • Support clean campaign setup together with Marketing Operations
  • Document relevant campaign structures, optimizations, decisions, and handover notes
  • Keep campaign documentation up to date throughout the engagement
  • Help ensure a smooth transition before and after the leave coverage period
Security & confidentiality
  • Handle advertising accounts, analytics tools, and marketing systems with a high level of care
  • Follow IntegrityNext’s internal security and data protection requirements
  • Treat account access, campaign data, and business performance information confidentially
  • Sign an NDA as part of the engagement

What should you bring along?

Experience & Domain Focus
  • Senior hands-on experience in performance marketing
  • Strong experience managing Google Ads accounts independently
  • Strong experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and B2B lead generation campaigns
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, sustainability, compliance, supply chain, procurement, or similar markets is a strong plus
  • Experience working in interim, freelance, or coverage situations is a plus
Technical / Methodological Skills
  • Confident working with Google Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager
  • Comfortable using GA4, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, Looker Studio, Semrush, Amplitude, and Hotjar
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into clear, practical recommendations
  • Good understanding of tracking, attribution, campaign setup, and marketing operations workflows
  • Experience with keyword management, placement optimization, budget pacing, and paid performance reporting

  • You can explain performance insights in a concise and actionable way
  • Fluent English is required; German is a plus
